The Vampire Diaries 6×10 ‘Christmas Through Your Eyes’: Hang onto your candy canes

Ah, another drama-filled episode.  This one had me at first like, “Nope, don’t care.”  But by the end of it, I was wishing it was a two hour episode because I want to know what happens next!  As is custom, one character is slated to die but since everyone waits around to do their killing, the character survived.  Duh.  And of course, there was a big surprise that I wish I had totally seen coming, but I didn’t.
I’ll just start with the worst news, maybe, of the episode : Caroline’s mom is going to die.  Or maybe she won’t.  People are really good at not dying.  Obviously, they can turn her into a vampire.  I don’t think the sheriff would want that.  But I’m sure they’ll find some magic or something to save her, because I can’t actually imagine the show without her.  This sad news seems to be leading Caroline and Stefan back on the road to friendship.  I don’t see Caroline forgiving quite that easily, but I can see where this is going.

Jeremy and Matt had their brilliant plan to kill Enzo, which didn’t work because everyone has to stop and talk for ten minutes before they do anything on this show.  So, of course, the spell disappeared and Enzo survived the newly magical Mystic Falls.  Ugh.  Whatever.  I’d like for Enzo, Matt, Jeremy, and Tyler to all disappear from this show.  It’s too much cast without enough story line.

And then we have the big twin merge of the Gemini coven.  This is becoming a whole dramatic thing.  We want to save the blonde twins but we don’t want Malachi to take over everything so now we’ve convinced ourselves that Jo can beat him.  Which, obviously, someone will beat him because otherwise he’ll destroy everyone and the entire show will end.  So Malachi is going to have to go down, just how?  Here’s what I never saw coming : Malachi stealing the magic of The Travelers’ spell and Mystic Falls going back to “normal”.
I really feel like I should’ve seen this coming.  After all, the first crazy witch in my life was Willow and she could take all the magic in the world because it’s all connected through the earth.  So this type of idea has been set before and my supernatural-loving self should’ve seen it coming!  But I didn’t.  This is a somewhat exciting new twist if I didn’t hate this whole story line.

I don’t know, but I’m just tired of everyone running around in circles over and over.  I want Bonnie back.  I want Enzo gone.  I want Tyler gone.  I want this plot to be less strung out all over the place and more organized.

How do you feel?  Are you going to miss the Sheriff?  Just, are you loving all of this and absolutely hanging on ever second or nah?  Let me know in the comments!

All of those Bonnie scenes broke my heart.
