Here we have it – the penultimate episode of the season! The episode extends and polishes up the many storylines that are going on. It’s like a whole melting pot of drama and I’ve got a feeling it’ll boil over the brim in the finale!
The episode picks up with Callie confronting her father and asking him why her never wrote back. In this heart-wrenching scene he explained that he was getting himself together in order to fight for Callie and Jude back! Although it’s really sweet of him I feel as if he could’ve still wrote once or twice. Anyway Callie – as per usual – is concerned with the way Jude will react to her father trying to get them back and she leaves her father’s house with mixed emotions clearly plastered over her face.
In a time like this Callie needs her friends so she goes and stalks Daphne at work. After much ignoring and apologies Daphne forgives Callie but also reminds her of how her comment hurt her. Daphne says what we were all thinking and explains that Callie herself is confused about her father rather than Jude. Meanwhile back at home Jesus reminds Jude of what happened with him and Anna and this seems to put Jude off. Surprisingly Callie tells Jude to see his father and she will also see him! I don’t know about any of you but I really love Callie and her father – they’re on screen father-daughter chemistry is perfect.
In the end Callie’s father says that he would do whatever she wanted him to do in which she replied with “Tell the truth”. It’s time for him to come around and meet Jude [and Callie] for the first time but obviously nobody at home knows that Callie has already seen him. He comes in and the three of them share the sweetest scene ever and he hands his parental rights over and tells them that he would always be there. It’s only when Callie sees him out that we find out that she told him to sign his rights away so he listened – he can also see that Stef and Lena can offer them far much more then he can cue tears goodbye Callie’s dad I hope you visit again!
Whilst all that was going on, ‘Babygate’, was in full swing. Lena is ovulating which means they must act fast. With an arrangement of reading material and solid instructions Timothy gets his juices flowing as Stef and Lena anxiously wait downstairs. Jesus rushes upstairs to find some more ADHD tablets [which he isn’t meant to be taking] and comes across a mysterious bottle filled with something that he obviously recognized. After screaming and freaking out his mothers call a family meeting and they tell their kids about the plans to which they get positive feedback from! I’m excited for a baby.
Going back to Jesus – him and Emma aren’t really friends anymore, especially when she finds out that Lexi left him so if they were to ever get together it’ll be because Lexi left Jesus and not because Jesus chose Emma. I really miss Emma and Jesus together and I feel like he needs her – especially know he’s taking his ADHD tablets. I feel as if she’ll catch onto it and help him out.
Finally we have crazy Danni and Mike! Danni is up to something and I feel as if its more then getting herself comfy in Mike’s house. She constantly uses situations to earn brownie points but all her attempts are deemed unnecessary because Mike decides he wants it to be just him and Brandon. Danni realizes that Brandon is Mike’s weak spot and she gets him to play piano again and decorates his room so he deffo decides to stay. Another sneaky little move she does is she feeds Brandon what he wants to hear which is support and understanding towards the Callie situation. Whilst I love Brandon and Callie together I think they’re maybe better without each other but now Danni has re planted the seeds and from the promo I foresee fireworks and a tonne of drama!
Wait, there’s more! If all that wasn’t enough there is also the Marianna and Zach relationship that I love! Zach’s mother invites Marianna over and Marianna soon comes to see how “Kooky” Zach’s mother can be. I feel as if she has short-term memory loss or something along them lines – maybe even bipolar. She seems to fluctuate between different moods rapidly but once Zach sees that this doesn’t phase Marianna they finally share a kiss and I think become a couple. Later that day Marianna gets a phone call from Zach’s mother and is threatened to stay away or else…
Uh-oh! SO much is happening and I dont want this season to end but I know it’s coming up and I’m really excited for next week. Let me know your thoughts/opinions and thanks for reading.
