The Big Bang Theory 8×19 ‘The Skywalker Incursion’: Lightly stabbed…

After a few weeks away and before that a trail of tears, The Big Bang Theory finally treated us to a very lighthearted episode. It wasn’t much, but it at least gave our OG pairing some time alone, while the rest of the gang had a major ping pong battle over a big blue box.

While I’ve gone on about loving when they break off into off pairings, I must say I did like seeing Leonard and Sheldon together and especially getting along. Last time we saw them they were making dinner hell on Earth and Bernadette had to put them in their place. They must’ve put things behind them as they headed up north to speak at Berkeley, or whatever it was they were up to. I was more interested in their fanboy ways towards Skywalker Ranch. We all say Sheldon’s antics coming a mile away…

Meanwhile, back home the rest of the crew was helping Bernadette and Howard move stuff to the curb to sell and get rid of. On the chopping block was his TARDIS. Whovians were likely steaming towards Bernadette and screaming, “Who wouldn’t want that in their house?” as they looked over their shoulder to their own. I’m not a fan of that show, but I do like a collection and I think that if it was in a modest place – then he should’ve been able to keep it, or they could’ve just converted the garage into his (little) man cave and kept it right there. Um, side note…did they mention where Stuart was?

Like I said, we all saw Sheldon doing whatever it was going to take to try and meet the man behind Star Wars and I’m kind of bummed that they didn’t get George Lucas to guest star. You’d think that he’d be up for it, guess not. That would’ve been the icing on the cake, but I guess he doesn’t really need the extra cash. He seems to be doing just fine.

Just as Sheldon was getting tasered, Howard and Bernadette were playing for keeps. Only they enlisted Raj and Penny to play their ping pong battle for them. Then Bernadette worked her magic on Raj and then again on Amy, and she got her way. Sadly, even though Amy won the TARDIS in hopes of luring Sheldon into her bedroom – in backfired.

Or did it…? Next week we got teased with a sleepover from those two, and we meet Howard’s brother – played by Matt Bennett who adults who were too old to be watching Nickelodeon know as Robbie, the kid with the puppet, from Victorious.
