The Bachelorette 10×10 ‘The Men Tell All’: Favorites in the hot seat

Source: ABC

I gotta say, I was really looking forward to this reunion episode!  Seeing as I’d watched (almost) the entire season, I was excited to see recaps and hear what the boys had to say.  I was also thrilled that my three favorite contestants were the ones interviewed: Marquel, Marcus, and Chris!

The episode was mostly light-hearted with appearances by contestants of former seasons and questions from the guys to Andi about why it didn’t work out.  Everyone seemed to have a good attitude but then, of course, the JJ/Marquel/Andrew debacle was brought up.  I thought this was pretty pointless though because it had already been beaten to death on the show.  At the end of it all, they were all still defending themselves and nothing was truly resolved.  I did like that Chris pointed out how JJ should have approached Andrew directly instead of telling everyone what he said.  Fighting hate with hate never works, and I’m glad that at least Marquel understood this.

My favorite part of the episode may have been the preview of Bachelor in Paradise.  I wouldn’t be looking forward to it except that Marquel, Marcus, Dylan and Cody are all going to be contestants!  The premise is completely different than any other in the Bachelor set so I’m interested to see how it all plays out.  It definitely looks more dramatic and I’m not sure if I’ll like any girl as much as Andi, but we’ll see who my favorites turn out to be.

I did notice that nothing about Eric was mentioned in this episode but then again, they have already had to deal with his death twice on the show and maybe they wanted to keep the recap positive.  It was a little strange that they glossed over the whole thing but I do understand why they would want to.  I just wonder if his family is still watching the show and what they’re feeling.
