The Bachelor 19×10 ‘Week 9’: Time for a plot twist

I’m pretty sure we all know by now who won since fans like to post spoilers everywhere online and you can probably guess from the fact that Chris only asked ONE of the girls’ families for a marriage blessing. But it’s cool, we’ll play along because this show is too good to pass up. Each episode is a cinematic masterpiece, amirite?

In all seriousness, I do appreciate the fact that they built up Kaitlyn’s leaving last week.  She was 110% sure she and Whitney were staying, and even Whit was surprised when Becca was chosen instead.  I love Becca, like I don’t even know her and I love her like a sister, but I don’t think she’s right for Chris.  Like Whitney said, Becca doesn’t have enough life experience for him.  He’s in his 30s and he needs someone to be on his level.  Even though Becca’s 26 — not too young for him by any means — we all know that age is just a number.  I would’ve guessed that she was 22 or so.  It’s not the fact that she’s saving her virginity for marriage, but the fact that she’s never been in love at all.

That said, I do hope that Britt is the next Bachelorette and not Kaitlyn.  I like Kaitlyn more (I think she’d be a fun friend) but Britt is more “star” material.  I don’t know if Kaitlyn could handle the emotional rollercoaster of starring in a show like this, whereas Britt would eat it up and love the fame.  Of course, it’s not my decision (I personally wanted Marquel over Chris) but this is my review and I’ll say whatever I damn well please!

I just really don’t like that Chris made Kaitlyn go through the rose ceremony, especially after he told her he was falling in love with her.  Maybe he doesn’t have as much experience as I thought.  Homeboy needs to learn how to break up with women better.
