The Bachelor 19×06 ‘Week 6′: Three’s a crowd

Source: ABC

You guys, this was the most dramatic episode in the history of Bachelor Nation.  That’s a fact.  (Just kidding.  I actually have no idea.  I’ve only just started watching these shows.)  At any rate, let’s delve into it.

First off, I’m sure you remember that last week’s episode ended with Kelsey on the floor having a panic attack/fainting spell/whatever.  She and everyone else kept changing what it was.  Either way, ish got WEIRD.  When last night’s episode opened, Kelsey was recovering from her ordeal, and was laughing and asking to talk to Chris and saying she’d better get a rose.  What!?  I’m pretty sure everyone (except Chris, of course) had concluded that she was being manipulative at this point.

Then, the ceremony finally happened.  Samantha (who we literally learned nothing about over the course of the show) and Mackenzie (who is super sweet and quirky and generally a great person) were sent home.  The other girls were just as pissed as the audience that Kelsey stayed while these other babes who’d potentially be better for Chris had to go.

That left us with Ashley, Becca, Britt, Carly, Jade, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Megan and Whitney.  Carly informed us that there would be a one-on-one, a two-on-one, and a group this week.  Yikes.  Becca was chosen for the one-on-one, while Ashley and Kelsey were brought on the two-on-one.  Double yikes.  I bet you can only imagine how it all went down.

Becca and Chris are pretty perfect for each other.  I’m still rooting for her.  Even though she’s gorgeous, she’s also down-to-earth and I can totally see her being cool with Iowa.  Chris has an intense sexual connection with Britt, which became obvious when they decided to smooch in front of everyone on the group date, but being an actress from LA I can’t see her settling down in the country at all.  Whitney might just be the perfect catch for Chris, but I’m not sure she’d be into the small-town life either, though she definitely has some country in her.  Same with Megan.

To our shock, surprise and delight, both Kelsey and Ashley were let go.  The girls back in the hotel room all cheered with champagne.  I had an extra slice of pizza at home on their behalf, and all was well.  Until next week…
