Supernatural 9×22 ‘Stairway to Heaven’ : “Agents Spears and Aguilera?”

At first, I was really excited that Cas is back.  Because, that first season with Cas, has to be my fave.  I think the chemistry among Cas and The Winchesters has to be really up there for relationships on Supernatural.  (Charlie might be my top, but it might be Cas.)  I have been DYING all season for the three of them to reunite and actually be a trio again…but this episode just fell super flat for me.  I was so disappointed.

Umm…so angels and a door to heaven and Cas vs. Metatron and some angels want to go home and some don’t and gruesome deaths.  There, that’s the show.  Summed up in one sentence.  Also, completely underwhelming.

Sam and Dean seem to be back at it again, and I’m SO TIRED OF THEIR FIGHTING.  It’s just happening over and over and over.  I feel like Dean laying down the law and saying this is a dictatorship is just going to push Sam to do something behind his back.  Whatever.  Also, there’s this undertone that the Mark of Cain and First Blade are making Dean some sort of crazy person.  But I  don’t understand why.  He hasn’t crossed any lines as far as I can tell.

Honestly, I just want this season to be over.  The magic is just missing.  Once Metatron is gone, I hope we go back to some Crowley shenanigans and maybe a season of some demons trying to kill the Winchesters.  I could really go for a less convoluted plot and none of this heaven crap.  It’s not really working for me at all.  But what do you think?  Let me know in the comments!

I agree, the angels are boring… I thought I would never say this but like you I miss the demons…
