Liam has finally found out about Ezria. I guess Aria didn’t want to promote the fact that she formerly dated the writer she is now working with who happened to be her teacher. Understandable I think, but Liam is upset because he thinks that is the reason why she has stayed in Rosewood this long, instead of coming home to him. Which is true. I mean Ezra and Aria have a past, which has kind of come back to bite them in the butt. Everything they went through with Charlotte and A bonded them together. Now with everything that’s happening they are reminded of that time and the people they relied on during those terrible times were each other, so of course they might be drawn back to each other in a time like this. Aria would feel comfortable talking and share the new ‘A’ texts with him but she might not want to share that with Liam because he can’t fully understand what’s happening and how she feels. Ezra can because he’s been through it with her once before. On top of that Ezra was her first love, of course she will always care about him, he is a great guy, and she sees that he is in pain and struggling now. Of course she wouldn’t want to just bail on him and leave him in pain. She’s being a friend, even if that is difficult given the feelings they once shared. Now that being said, I do think that there are still feelings there and that they will probably have to confront them at some point. However it’s not as simple as Ezria still being in love, there are plenty of other reasons why Aria and Ezra would be drawn to each other and for Aria to want to stay in Rosewood until the Charlotte/Evil Emoji situation is all cleared up.
The Spaleb honeymoon is over. Veronica has kicked Caleb out of the barn and banished him to somewhere far away from the Hastings campaign camp. Just as Veronica was announcing her health issues publicly so that they couldn’t be used against her, someone leaked Yvonne Phillip’s past medical history that included a pregnancy termination. Since the Phillips campaign is pro life it doesn’t look too well. And of course the leak has been traced back to Spencer’s IP address, even though she insists that it couldn’t have been her or Caleb since they were watching her mother’s address on his laptop. Most likely it was the work of the Evil Emoji, but there is no way to prove this, so Caleb steps in to be the white knight he always is and confesses that he was the one to leak the information. So it is now bye bye Caleb. They can’t let it look like they endorse this time of dirty behavior. Now Caleb is out on his ass and just when Melissa is looking more and more suspicious everyday. With the missing suitcase handle, the fact that she lied about how it got damaged, and the story that Hanna tells them about Melissa’s hatred of Charlotte it is looking more and more like the eldest Hastings is involved somehow. But Melissa has always been sketchy. She has been intertwined with all of the previous A’s and the previous mysteries. As well, someone online pointed out that this isn’t the first time that Melissa’s story’s don’t add up. There are a lot of inconsistencies regarding her. Could Melissa have been the mastermind behind everything all along?
How is it that Wren barely had any screen time throughout the entire show yet he still somehow always pops back up? He has to have something to do with all the ‘A’ shenanigans because they always mention him. Why would he still matter and why would the writers want to keep reminding us about him if he wasn’t going to play an even bigger role eventually. Don’t forget all roads lead back to Radley. That is where this all begins and I bet it is where it all ends. Wren volunteered at Radley a few times a week he would have encountered Charlotte and Bethany. Perhaps that is how he got wrapped up in all of this. Or perhaps he is the puppet master pulling the strings of Mona and Charlotte to do his bidding. Is he the elusive figure in the town car that is being driven around Rosewood? Could Wren be the Big A?
