Pretty Little Liars 6×16 ‘Where Somebody Waits For Me’ Who is the new ‘A’?

616-M3-Recap

As we get deeper and deeper into the show the crazy speculations and conspiracy theories explode in my mind. Everyone is a suspect! Even the Liar’s themselves, I mean wouldn’t that make for a great twist?! However right now the spotlight is being shone just Liar adjacent.

Sarah Harvey is gone. Ever since the night Team Sparia broke in to her hotel room she left and hasn’t been seen since. Could she have known that someone would find the entrance to what I have deemed the Radley Tunnel in her closet and she wants to get the heck out of there? What Spencer and Aria find down in the old Radley section is pretty compromising too, an old switchboard, the type that A used to torture the liars. It’s also the same switchboard that the medical gloved hands are cleaning in the closing scene. Seems pretty obvious that Sarah is the new A. I mean we have Emily’s drugged up sighting of Sarah in the clinic wearing the medical gloves, we have the tunnel to the old Radley in her hotel room, which leads to the switchboard that only Sarah would know about. If Sarah isn’t the new A then who else could it be? It is so obvious and so simple that I am certain it isn’t her, but it will be interesting to see how they tie her in with all of this because clearly she plays some part in it all.

Although it seems like the identity of A has been solved, Charlotte’s killer still hasn’t been found. We don’t even have a prime suspect. However, I have become suspicious of Dr. Rollins. Alison confides in Spencer that she is frustrated with having to keep her relationship with Elliott Rollins a secret. But with him being her sister’s doctor it would be unprofessional for him to be dating her and I guess for now it would be best to keep it a secret. However ever since I first met Elliott Rollins I have been creeped out by him. Then when he told Alison that he only wanted to protect her the thought occurred to me, that maybe Dr. Rollins is Charlotte’s murderer. After all he was the one that treated Charlotte, one could say that he knew her better than anyone else. Perhaps he realized that she would never be able to comeback from her traumatic childhood and A shenanigans, and he knew how much that would hurt Alison so he murdered her sister to save her the pain of realizing her sister would never be cured. I don’t know, or something equally as crazy. He just seems weird and Criminal Minds has taught me if they are creepy then they are a serial killer.

The search for Charlotte’s murderer continues and guess who’s back in town to help track them down? Detective Tanner and she is as persistent as ever. She is adament that the liars have something to do with it. She ‘runs into’ Emily at the Brew and just mentions that the only time there are homicides in Rosewood are when the Liars are all together. She also lets Alison know that the murder weapon isn’t a golf club like we thought, but a long hollow square shaped rod. Which coincidentally Spencer finds missing from Melissa’s suitcase. I knew something was up with that suitcase because they mentioned it enough! You guys need to be a bit subtler with your foreshadowing. So does this mean that Melissa is the murderer? Or does she play another small role in the murder like she did last time with Alison’s murder?
