Pretty Little Liars 6×05 ‘She’s No Angel’ She’s Leslie Stone

PLL-605-Clip

Spencer is having a creepy dream about some little girl dancing in an insane asylum. Nobody knows what this means, but it looks really cool.

Turns out, the room that Spence was dreaming about was a room in Radley’s basement. She seemed very surprised when she realized the room was from Radley and not from the dollhouse but it looked really insane asylum-y to me. Spencer finally cracks the riddle that was her creepy dancer dream when Hannah and her venture to the abandoned insane asylum in their investigation of Charles. It appears that all roads definitely do lead back to Radley. What I’m curious about is why Spencer remembers this room when she said that patients were never allowed down into the basement, and why her subconscious was dreaming about it now. Is she psychic? Or is it just all of those pot cookies she has been ingesting?

The girls find a medical file that has a work order for the transportation of Charles’ organs, meaning he probably is dead. Hannah is still slightly skeptical, as am I, I mean half of the people we thought were dead are now regulars on the show. Paperwork can be faked. We haven’t seen any hard evidence yet that Charles is dead. Although the girls came in search of Charles the new lead they find is regarding one, Leslie Stone. I knew there was something sketchy about her. I was getting frustrated with all of these random new characters and seemingly dead end storylines the writers were throwing at us, but it looks like I underestimated them because they have brought the Leslie storyline back around. Turns out that Mona met Leslie in Radley, where the redhead not only knew Charles DiLaurentis but was roommates with Bethany Young. All roads lead back to Radley, looks like all roads lead to Leslie Stone.

Aria’s new friend Clark inadvertently snapped a picture of A when they were taking shots of trash at the junkyard. After Aria swipes the prints to inspect them, she discovers that the profile of A looks a lot like a woman’s profile (aka it has boobs). Leslie not only knew Charles, she lived with Bethany and became friends with Mona, possibly recruiting her to the A team while they were at Radley. Could the female hooded figure be Leslie? She is the most suspicious female in Rosewood at the moment. But let’s not forget Sarah Harvey, I still don’t trust her. She is worming her way into Emily’s life. The way that she is acting seems like she is manipulating Emily into caring for her, feeling protective of her, and building a connection with her to get closer to Emily and possibly keep an eye on her or to steer her actions in whatever direction A wishes. The relationship with her mother could be all a ruse to gain Emily’s sympathies. The phone with her ‘drunk’ mother seemed to come just at the right time when Emily walks into the room. And Sarah says later that they are building a connection. Perhaps Sarah is the hooded A figure and her duty is to get closer to Em.

That being said there is one other girl that is acting a little suspicious lately, Mona. Spencer and Aria did catch Mona in Radley attempting to steal Leslie’s file so that the Liars don’t find out she was ever in there. She claims she was doing it to repair their friendship, but could it be that Mona is still a part of the A team even after all this time. Maybe she has been working with Leslie all along only pretending to be on the Liar’s side to manipulate them and lead them where she wants them to go. It is slightly suspicious that she calls Leslie to tell her ‘they know’. Presumably meaning that the Liars know that Leslie was in Radley, they know she had a relationship with Bethany and Charles. Leslie is extremely upset with this news, which is concerning since she was in Radley for years, who knows what type of mental issues she is dealing with. Is she upset that people know of her embarrassing past? Or is it that the Liars are getting too close to the truth?

Everyone seems to assume that A is one person; it makes much more sense that it is a team of people working together. This theory makes some sense because not only are there way too many suspicious people that probably all play a part, but even after the revelation that A is most likely a girl, we still only see the gloved hand of A in the closing scene. If they had already revealed the sex of A you would think they would do something to reinforce that. But we still only get to see the gloves. Is this because the hand beneath the glove belongs to a man? Another member of the A team? Charles?
